The Iowa State University College of Human Science's dean's list honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of 2018.

Four hundred and fifty-nine graduates were conferred the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College on Saturday, June 15, 2019, the culmination of four years of study in the liberal arts.

Graduating Iowa State University students seeking teacher licensure were corded at a ceremony on Friday, May 10, in C.Y. Stephen's Auditorium. As part of the celebration, each student received honors cords that were placed around their shoulders by the influential mentor of their choice.

Nearly 770 Coastal Carolina University students were named to the President's List for the Spring 2019 semester. To be named to the President's List, students must achieve a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) for the semester. CCU has a student body of 10,600. More than 2,000 students were also named to the Dean's List for the spring semester, which means more than 21 percent of the student body earned recognition on either the Dean's List or the President's List. Of those on the President's List, 141 are freshmen, 177 are sophomores, 166 are juniors and 285 are seniors.

Cedarville University Student Named to Dean's List

Twenty-four students from Iowa State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences recently displayed research at the 2019 National Conference on Undergraduate Research, hosted by Kennesaw State University in Georgia. About 4,000 undergraduate students from across the United States presented their research at this annual conference, the largest undergraduate research conference in the country. In addition to presenting their research at a national level, students attended one of the biggest graduate school fairs in the nation.

More than 1,700 students earned bachelor's degrees from Georgia State University during the Fall 2018 semester, with more than 3,000 students earning degrees at the associate's, bachelor's, master's, professional, specialist and doctoral degree levels.

Cedarville University Student Named to Dean's List for Fall 2018

More than 160 upper class students will be serving as Peer Mentors in the more than 20 Iowa State University Learning Communities with ties to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) for the 2018-2019 academic year. Mentors help new students in the college make the transition to life at Iowa State. These selected Peer Mentors are often involved with organizing study groups, social events, and out-of-class activities. Coastal Carolina University has announced that 814 students made the President's honor list for high academic achievement for the 2017 Fall Semester. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average and must be enrolled full time.

Biola University named approximately 1,500 students to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence. Biola students are placed on the Dean's List to honor those with a grade point average of 3.60 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credit units and whose cumulative grade point average is at least a 3.20.

A group of 38 ISU students in Graphic Design, Interior Design, and Integrated Studio Arts who are studying in Italy this semester with the College of Design Rome Program developed an installation for the 2017 Venice Art Biennale.
